Payment will be made by credit card at the time of application. The service will be available for use as soon as the application procedure is completed.

Refunds and Cancellations
Private lessons (Japanese/Korean)
As a general rule, we cannot accept cancellations or refunds due to customer reasons after the course fee has been paid.
Cram school lessons for elementary and junior high school students
A trial lesson period is set before application. Cancellation is not possible after application.
Corporate lessons (Japanese)
A trial lesson period is set before you apply. Cancellation is not possible after application.

SARA ONLINE SCHOOL Terms of Use
Please be aware that before registering as a member of SARA ONLINE SCHOOL, you must agree to the following terms of use.
Article 1 (Membership Registration Terms)
These Membership Registration Terms and Conditions set out the rules for a Member (hereinafter referred to as "Party B") to use "SARA ONLINE SCHOOL" and its associated services (hereinafter referred to as "This Service") provided by SARA ONLINE SCHOOL (hereinafter referred to as "Party A").
Article 2 (Scope of Terms)
When using this service, Party B shall read this agreement carefully and comply with it in good faith. All information on Party A's website and information sent by Party A to Party B via separate email or other means shall be considered part of this agreement.
Article 3 (Changes to these Terms)

Party A may change these Terms of Use without Party B's consent. In such case, the terms of use of the Service will be governed by the changed Terms of Use.

The revised terms of use will take effect from the time they are posted online, unless otherwise specified by Company A.
Article 4 (Membership Registration and Consent)

Anyone who wishes to use this service must install the online meeting tool (Zoom) and register as a member in the manner specified by Party A.

When registering as a member, please confirm that your communication environment is suitable for using the service.

Anyone who registers as a member (including those who provisionally register with the intention of registering) is deemed to have accepted the contents of these Terms of Use at the time of registering as a member.

Each person may only register as a member once, and may also only use the free trial period once. If it is discovered that the same person has registered multiple times to illegally use the free trial period, Party A will request Party B to pay damages, and Party B will be required to pay them.

If you wish to register as a member, you must obtain parental consent before doing so if you are under the age of 18.
Article 5 (Rejection of Registration)
If an applicant for membership to this service falls under any of the following items, Company A may not approve the registration.

If an existing registrant attempts to register under a different name

If there is any falsehood, error or omission in the information declared when applying for membership

When there is a risk of interfering with the smooth operation of this service

If you have been expelled from the Association in the past

If A determines that you are unsuitable for membership for reasons other than those mentioned above
Article 6 (Start date of use of this service)
The usage period for this service will commence from the time Party A notifies Party B by email that registration is complete.
Article 7 (Deadline for provision of this service)
There is no expiration date for the provision of this service, however, if no lessons (lessons/lectures) have been booked for more than six months, your registration information may be deleted without prior notice.
Article 8 (Cancellation of the Service)
There is no special procedure for canceling the use of this service (= withdrawal procedure), but if no lessons have been booked for more than six months, we may delete your account as stipulated in Article 7.
Article 9 (Refunds)
Regarding points already purchased, there will be no refunds or point returns, regardless of whether they have been used or not. The same applies if it is difficult to use the Service due to a failure of the communication environment, communication connection, communication software, connection status, etc. of Party B.
Article 10 (Lesson Details)
Members shall purchase lesson points by bank transfer or credit card. Points will be deducted when making a lesson reservation.
If a Member requests to cancel a reserved lesson through the designated cancellation form within the cancellation period specified by SARA ONLINE SCHOOL, the corresponding lesson points shall be refunded.
The validity period of purchased lesson tickets shall be six (6) months from the date of the Member's last lesson. If no lesson is taken for six (6) months after the last lesson, any unused lesson tickets (points) shall expire. However, in cases of illness, childbirth, overseas assignment, or other unavoidable circumstances, SARA ONLINE SCHOOL may provide individual accommodations after consultation.
If a lesson cannot be conducted due to reasons attributable to the instructor, or if the lesson is not properly provided due to reasons attributable to SARA ONLINE SCHOOL, lesson points shall be refunded according to the circumstances.
Details regarding lesson availability, lesson duration, tuition fees, and other information are available on the official website.
If a Member joins a lesson late due to personal reasons, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time. No lesson points shall be refunded in such cases.
Lesson Recording
SARA ONLINE SCHOOL may record lessons for the purposes of maintaining lesson quality, instructor training, and providing learning support.
Recorded lesson data may be provided to Members for review purposes when necessary.
In addition, recorded lesson data may be used to verify service quality or to confirm the facts in the event of disputes or other issues.
Article 11 (Measures in Case of Emergencies or Disasters)
If lessons cannot be provided temporarily due to system failures, domestic circumstances, natural disasters, or other events beyond the control of SARA ONLINE SCHOOL in the country where lessons are provided, and the Service must be suspended, SARA ONLINE SCHOOL and the Member shall discuss appropriate measures, including point refunds or arrangements for resuming the Service.
Article 12 (Scope of Responsibility)
If SARA ONLINE SCHOOL is unable to provide a scheduled lesson for reasons attributable to the School, the corresponding lesson points shall be refunded.
SARA ONLINE SCHOOL shall not be liable for any other damages incurred by the Member as a result of lesson cancellation, even if such cancellation occurs without prior notice.
Members are responsible for ensuring that their communication environment and equipment are suitable before attending lessons. If SARA ONLINE SCHOOL determines that a lesson could not be completed due to the Member's internet connection, communication environment, or equipment, lesson points shall not be refunded.
SARA ONLINE SCHOOL shall not be responsible for protecting the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of files, videos, images, or other materials uploaded or sent by Members to instructors, regardless of whether such materials are publicly available on the website.
If access to the website becomes unavailable due to server connection failures, SARA ONLINE SCHOOL shall make reasonable efforts to restore the service but shall not be liable for any loss of opportunity suffered by Members.
Article 13 (Protection of Personal Information)
Personal information obtained by SARA ONLINE SCHOOL shall be handled in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
However, this policy shall not apply to personal information voluntarily disclosed by a Member directly to an instructor.
Article 14 (Copyright and Ownership)
All copyrights, ownership rights, trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property related to the Service belong exclusively to SARA ONLINE SCHOOL.
Members are prohibited from reproducing, redistributing, or otherwise using such materials without authorization.
Article 15 (Disclaimer)
Members agree in advance that SARA ONLINE SCHOOL shall not be liable for any damages arising from or related to any of the following circumstances:

Failure to fully use the Service due to any of the following reasons (including but not limited to those listed below).

Insufficient lesson availability due to a sudden increase in the number of Members.

Inability to reserve lessons with a specific instructor requested by the Member.

Inability to reserve or use the Service at the Member's preferred time.

Suspension of lessons due to the circumstances described in Article 11.

Unauthorized access to the Member's system, unauthorized alteration, or actions by third parties.

The effectiveness, usefulness, accuracy, or reliability of the educational content provided through the Service.

The effectiveness, usefulness, safety, or accuracy of third-party services or educational materials introduced or recommended by SARA ONLINE SCHOOL.

Failure to use the Service due to malfunctions or problems with services provided by partner companies.

Damage caused by viruses or other harmful software resulting from files or data received or opened by the Member during lessons at the Member's own responsibility.

Inability to use the Service due to loss or misuse of passwords caused by the Member.

The completeness, accuracy, timeliness, or safety of all information provided on this website and on linked websites.

The contents or use of third-party websites linked to or from this website.
Article 16 (User ID and Password Management)
Members shall be responsible for properly managing the User ID and password they have registered for use of the Service. Members shall bear full responsibility for the management and use of their User ID and password.
If a Member's User ID or password is lost, stolen, forgotten, or found to have been used by a third party, the Member shall immediately notify SARA ONLINE SCHOOL and follow any instructions provided.
Except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence by SARA ONLINE SCHOOL, the School shall not be liable for any damages resulting from the Member's improper management or use of the User ID and password, or from unauthorized use by a third party. SARA ONLINE SCHOOL shall also not be liable for any damages resulting from the Member's negligence or unauthorized use by a third party.
Article 17 (Prohibited Conduct)
Members shall not engage in any conduct that violates these Terms of Service or any of the following acts while using the Service.
If SARA ONLINE SCHOOL determines that a Member has committed any of the following acts, the School may suspend the Member's use of the Service or cancel the Member's registration without prior notice, regardless of the status of the Service. In such cases, SARA ONLINE SCHOOL shall not refund any fees already paid by the Member.

Any act that infringes or may infringe the copyrights (including rights under Articles 27 and 28 of the Copyright Act), intellectual property rights, or any other rights of other applicants, Members, third parties, or SARA ONLINE SCHOOL.

Any act that infringes or may infringe the property or privacy of other applicants, Members, third parties, or SARA ONLINE SCHOOL.

Any act, other than those described above, that causes or may cause disadvantage or damage to other applicants, Members, third parties, or SARA ONLINE SCHOOL.

Any act of transferring, assigning, inheriting, or allowing another person to exercise the Member's rights or status. However, in the event of the Member's death, succession may be permitted if the procedures separately specified by SARA ONLINE SCHOOL are completed and approved in writing.

Any act of defaming or slandering other applicants, Members, third parties, or SARA ONLINE SCHOOL.

Any unauthorized collection or disclosure of information belonging to other applicants, Members, or third parties.

Any act that violates public order and morals, or provides information contrary to public order and morals.

Any criminal act, or any act that may lead to criminal activity.

Any election campaign or similar political activity, regardless of whether an election is in progress.

Any activity related to the sex industry, religion, or politics.
-
Unauthorized use of User IDs or passwords.
-
Any act of using or distributing computer viruses or other harmful programs through or in connection with the Service.

Any act that violates or may violate applicable laws or regulations.
-
Any other act deemed inappropriate by SARA ONLINE SCHOOL.

Allowing another applicant, Member, or any third party to use the Service, regardless of the purpose.
Even after losing Member status, a Member shall remain legally responsible for any damages caused to SARA ONLINE SCHOOL or third parties as a result of the prohibited acts described above.
Article 18 (Outsourcing)
SARA ONLINE SCHOOL may, at its sole discretion, outsource all or part of the operations necessary for providing the Service to Members to third parties.
When it is necessary to disclose Members' personal information to such third parties for business purposes, SARA ONLINE SCHOOL shall conclude an agreement with the third party regarding the proper handling and protection of personal information.
Article 19 (Notices)
SARA ONLINE SCHOOL may provide notices to Members at any time by posting them on the website, sending emails, or by any other method deemed appropriate.
SARA ONLINE SCHOOL shall not be liable for any damages or losses incurred because a Member failed to receive or confirm an email sent to the registered email address, regardless of the reason.
Article 20 (Date and Time)
All dates and times relating to the Service, including the commencement date of use, billing periods, payment deadlines, and application deadlines, shall be based on Japan Standard Time (JST / GMT+9).
All calculations of time within the Service shall be based on the time maintained by SARA ONLINE SCHOOL.
Article 21 (Exclusive Jurisdiction)
In the event that litigation becomes necessary between SARA ONLINE SCHOOL and a Member, the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
Supplementary Provision
These Terms of Service shall take effect on June 1, 2024.
